chapter 1 Introduction 8 System Description

The application subsystem consists of main four parts:
 Zigbee
 Arduino uno microcontroller
 7 Relay circuit
 On/off devices
Zigbee : is that receives the transmitted signals wireless from the
other Zigbee in the hand subsystem.
Arduino microcontroller: processes the signals that are received
and perform analog to digital signal conversion.
Relay circuit: is the circuit that works as on/off switch to turn
on/off the devices that are connected to it.
On/off devices: are devices that we have in our home such as
lamps, air conditioning, doors, TV, Music player … etc
In The application subsystem the stream of data that is received
from the hand subsystem through Zigbee . The analog outputs from
the Zigbee are then fed to the Arduino microcontroller. It
processes the signals and perform analog to digital signal
conversion. The resulting digital signal is used to control the on/off
devices through the relay circuit.
